This blogs aim is to be truthful and most importantly CONSTRUCTIVE (in my opinion) about the things I see in the "art world". It's not about wheather or not we are creative, but rather that what we create is relevant enough to be art and not just artful(L). There is a BIG difference between the two and here in lies the difference between creativity (ie: craft) and ART.
Lest face it - some art just isn't interesting or, frankly, as good as our own individual subjectivity and experience sees fit. Just as a t-shirt I wear states "A LOT OF ART IS BORING" (we are all entitled to our own opinion) I am hoping to express my opinion in favor of being more frank and honest about what I think and feel about what I see, but most importantly- WHY. From this I hope we can all enter into a better and bigger- more informed- discussion about talking about art insted of just assuming, ignoring, or worst of all- the passivity or it all.
